Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, September 2024 – Barbara Ivory has commenced her role as Group Head of People and Culture at Glen Dimplex. In her new position, Ivory will oversee global HR and cultural initiatives, aiming to enhance organizational development, employee engagement, and talent management across the company.
Barbara Ivory’s recent role was as Head of People Partnering Europe South & West at Hempel A/S for approximately 2 years. In this position, she managed HR operations across Southern and Western Europe, driving talent management and organizational development.
Before this, Ivory served as Head of People Partnering, Americas at Hempel A/S for around 7 months. She focused on HR strategy and support across the Americas, contributing to talent acquisition and employee engagement.
Ivory also held the role of Senior HR Business Partner at Hempel A/S for about 2 years, where she provided strategic HR support and developed key HR initiatives.
Prior to joining Hempel, Ivory was a People and Culture Partner at Crown Paints for approximately 2 years and 9 months, where she led HR activities and supported employee engagement strategies.
Ivory began her career as an HR Manager at Home Instead Senior Care Ireland for around 4 years and 7 months, where she developed HR services and managed various HR functions, including talent acquisition and employee relations.
