Lagos State, Nigeria – October 2024 – Bello Abdul-Hakeem Dan’Azimi has started a new position as the Head of Human Resources at Bell Oil & Gas. In his new role, Bello will be responsible for defining and executing HR strategies that align with corporate objectives, focusing on talent acquisition, employee development, and workforce management to support the company’s ongoing growth in the oil and gas sector.
Before joining Bell Oil & Gas, Bello served as the Human Resources Manager at Geoplex Drillteq Limited for over a decade. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in HR consulting, recruitment, training, and managing HR operations for various rigs and offshore installations. He was also instrumental in vendor management, compensation reviews, and implementing HR policies, contributing to a more efficient and motivated workforce.
Bello’s previous role as an Assistant Manager at Geoplex allowed him to build expertise in compliance with labor laws, recruitment processes, and HR strategy implementation. His efforts in overseeing payroll, facilitating training sessions, and managing employee relations were pivotal in enhancing organizational effectiveness.
Bello also held the position of Human Resources Generalist at Geoplex, where he focused on learning and development initiatives. He designed training programs, managed compensation reviews, and maintained performance documentation for over 500 casual staff, supporting large-scale workforce operations across various rigs.
Earlier in his career, Bello worked as an Office Manager at Global Analytics Consulting Limited, where he handled training needs analysis, staff supervision, and HR support functions. His experience across diverse roles has equipped him with a strong foundation in HR strategy, administration, and workforce management.
