Ireland, May 2024 – Benafsha Sahukar has been promoted to the position of Executive Director HR Business Partner and Projects Delivery, EMEA at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA). With over 12 years of dedicated service at RGA, Benafsha has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision in various HR roles, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success.
Benafsha’s most recent role was as Human Resources Lead, Europe for approximately 2 years. In this position, she was responsible for HR transformation, international HR, mergers & acquisitions, coaching, leadership, culture change, and workforce management.
Before that, she served as Human Resources Lead, Europe, Middle East & Africa for about 7 months. Benafsha was instrumental in leading HR consulting, succession planning, and HR transformation across these regions.
From September 2019 to September 2021, Benafsha held the role of HR Manager – Ireland & Netherlands for approximately 2 years. In this capacity, she managed international HR, employee benefits, coaching, HR project management, employee relations, and employee engagement.
Earlier, she served as Human Resources Manager – Australia & New Zealand for around 3 years. Benafsha was responsible for employee benefits, performance management, succession planning, HR policies, workforce planning, employer branding, recruiting, and HR project management.
In her initial roles at RGA, Benafsha served as Senior Human Resources Advisor – Australia, New Zealand & India for about 2 years and as Human Resources Advisor for approximately 2 years. She was involved in international HR, change management, HR consulting, and HR policies.
Prior to joining RGA, Benafsha worked at Sanofi as Associate Consultant for about 1.5 years, and at NuSep Inc. as Human Resources Officer, Australia and USA for approximately 8 months. She also held roles at Smith+Nephew, Cadburys Schweppes PLC, and Schweppes Australia, gaining experience in customer service, people & culture coordination, and learning & development administration.
