Portland, Oregon, United States, December 2024 – Beylan B. has joined Bonterra as the Senior Director of Total Rewards, where she will lead the organization’s comprehensive compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies. Beylan’s expertise in developing innovative total rewards programs and enhancing organizational competitiveness will play a crucial role in aligning Bonterra’s employee value proposition with its mission to drive social good.
Prior to joining Bonterra, Beylan served as Director of Total Rewards at Assurance IQ, where she developed and implemented global total rewards strategies, including equity compensation plans, job architecture, and retirement programs. She also spearheaded vendor management and compliance initiatives for U.S. and Canadian markets during her tenure of nearly two years.
Previously, Beylan worked as a Total Rewards and People Operations Consultant, providing strategic guidance on compensation structure design and benefits programs. At KEEN, she served as Senior Director, People & Culture Operations, where she built the organization’s first formal compensation function, developed global job architectures, and led cross-company compensation alignment efforts over nearly five years.
Beylan’s leadership experience also includes roles as Director of Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations at Avalara and Manager of Compensation & Benefits at Foss Maritime Company, where she developed market-based job architectures, designed short- and long-term incentive programs, and supported IPO readiness and M&A integration.
