Toronto, Ontario, Canada, December 2024 – Karthik Mattaparthy has joined SLC Management as the Managing Director, Total Rewards – Incentive and Wealth Plans. In this role, Karthik will oversee the design, implementation, and administration of the company’s incentive and wealth plans, including management equity and carry programs. These initiatives align closely with SLC Management’s strategic objectives and talent strategies to ensure operational excellence and market competitiveness.
Before joining SLC Management, Karthik served as Vice President at Brookfield Asset Management, where he led global compensation strategies, including executive compensation and long-term incentive programs. During his tenure, Karthik collaborated with cross-functional teams across finance, HR, and legal to align compensation initiatives with regulatory and business objectives.

Earlier, Karthik held the position of National Practice Manager – Global Mobility Services at Grant Thornton LLP, where he specialized in cross-border mobility strategies, tax equalization policies, and payroll compliance. His tenure also included significant contributions to business transformation and process improvement.
Karthik has also contributed his expertise as a Senior Tax Analyst – People Advisory Services at EY, focusing on global mobility tax services for Fortune 100 companies. He began his career with roles at PwC and Transamerica Life Canada, where he gained foundational experience in tax, payroll compliance, and expatriate services.
