Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 – Binoj Vasu has been promoted to the role of Country Head – Business HR at YES BANK, where he will lead Human Resources for all business functions across the organization, including Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, and Support Functions.
Previously, Binoj served as HR Head – Retail Banking & Head of Talent Management at YES BANK, where he was instrumental in driving HR strategies for the retail business. His contributions spanned key areas such as workforce planning, talent engagement, performance optimization, and enhancing the employee experience.

Before that, Binoj held the role of Group President & Chief Learning Officer, leading the YES School of Banking, Employee Engagement, Rewards and Recognition, Campus Hiring, and Talent Strategy. His visionary leadership helped align talent initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory standards, creating a future-ready workforce and learning culture within the bank.
In his earlier stint, Binoj was Founder & CEO of Kuotient, an EdTech platform focusing on career mentoring. He also undertook a consulting assignment with ISDI Parsons, ISME School of Management & Entrepreneurship, and DICE Academy, where he worked on next-gen career development initiatives in design, entrepreneurship, and future skills.
Binoj’s first journey with YES BANK began in 2007 where, over nearly a decade, he played several pivotal roles including Chief Learning Officer, Head – Talent Management, and Strategic Advisor. Prior to YES BANK, he worked in leadership roles with TATA AIG, NIS Sparta, Xerox, ExxonMobil, and Exide Industries across training, sales, and business functions.
He holds credentials from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (EPHRM) and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (ODCP).
