With more than 15 years of experience across ports, logistics, and pharmaceutical sectors, Biswajit brings deep expertise in designing and implementing forward-looking talent acquisition and attraction strategies. His diverse background and people-first approach will support ABB’s continued growth by enhancing its talent agenda globally.
Prior to joining ABB, Biswajit played a significant role at A.P. Moller – Maersk, where he led India hiring for Global Services Centers and championed global diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. His leadership contributed to closing thousands of critical roles, and his performance was recognized with the prestigious Star Award.
Before Maersk, he was with Intas Pharmaceuticals, where he developed and executed recruitment strategies aligned with business goals. He worked closely with senior leadership to identify talent needs and drive campus engagements, ensuring alignment between people strategies and organizational priorities.
Previously, at Adani Ports and SEZ, he contributed to corporate and site-level hiring, including strategic talent acquisition initiatives for emerging businesses and leadership positions. His efforts also supported large-scale implementations like Oracle Taleo and built robust recruitment performance matrices.
His early career at Claris Limited saw him involved in talent acquisition, employee development, and HR communication programs. This foundational period solidified his expertise in building strong HR processes, which have been instrumental in his strategic roles since then.
