Seattle, Washington, United States, February 2025 – Brandon J. Hale has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Care Model Design at Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG). In this role, he will lead financial strategy and oversee the evolution of care models, ensuring operational excellence and patient-centered healthcare delivery. With a strong background in financial leadership, healthcare operations, and strategic innovation, Brandon is set to drive impactful changes within WPMG.
Brandon has been with Washington Permanente Medical Group for over four years, holding multiple leadership positions. Before assuming his new role, he served as Senior Director of Care Model Design and Execution, where he played a key role in developing integrated healthcare solutions. Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Director of Business Operations, leading initiatives to enhance financial performance and streamline operational efficiencies.
Before joining WPMG, Brandon was Multi-Site Clinic Administrator at AltaMed Health Services, where he managed multiple healthcare facilities in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. He was responsible for operational strategy, patient experience, and revenue growth. His experience at HealthCare Partners as Senior Site Administrator further strengthened his expertise in managing high-volume outpatient services, driving revenue growth, and leading large healthcare teams.
Earlier in his career, Brandon spent two years at Kaiser Permanente, where he held key leadership roles, including Outpatient Unit Manager and Junior Military Officer Associate. During his tenure, he was instrumental in developing strategic healthcare programs, optimizing patient services, and improving financial efficiencies. His foundation in leadership was built during his nearly 10-year service in the U.S. Army, where he honed his expertise in operations, logistics, and strategic planning.
