Houston, Texas, United States, December 2025 – Brett Kummer has joined Turner & Townsend as the new Director of Talent, bringing with him over two decades of strategic leadership in global talent acquisition, workforce planning, and HR transformation. In his new role, Brett will lead talent initiatives across the organization to strengthen recruitment strategies, elevate the employee experience, and align talent capabilities with Turner & Townsend’s ambitious global growth goals.
Prior to this appointment, Brett Kummer spent over five years with Wood, where he most recently served as Head of Global Talent Acquisition, spearheading global center of excellence initiatives. He redefined delivery strategies, established shared services in Colombia and India, and implemented process improvements that reduced costs by 21% and improved hiring speed.
Before that, Brett held the position of Vice President, Talent Acquisition for the Americas at Wood. He played a pivotal role in a $1.9B divestment and led the global integration of Oracle Recruitment Cloud, yielding substantial savings. His efforts resulted in exponential growth in brand visibility, including a 150% increase in LinkedIn followers.
Brett previously worked at Fluor Corporation for more than 12 years, holding multiple leadership roles such as Director of Central US HR Operations and Head of Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility. At Fluor, he managed global onboarding systems, vendor relationships, and a $3M budget, while leading diverse international teams across recruitment, mobility, and training functions.
Earlier in his career, Brett led recruiting operations across six continents, implemented global applicant tracking systems, and oversaw complex organizational development initiatives, setting the foundation for his extensive expertise in scaling talent functions globally.
