Carina Figueira Appointed as Global Head of People at LSIG

Lisbon, Portugal, June 2025 – Carina Figueira has stepped into the role of Global Head of People at LSIG, taking on the responsibility for shaping and driving people strategy across the organization. In this pivotal role, Carina will lead all aspects of human resources and organizational culture, focusing on talent acquisition, development, engagement, and performance management to support LSIG’s mission of transformation and value creation within its global investments.

Prior to joining LSIG, Carina Figueira served as Head of People & Culture at 360hyper, where she played an instrumental role in establishing people practices and nurturing an inclusive workplace. During her tenure, she led initiatives focused on leadership development and talent management, supporting business growth through effective people strategies.

Simultaneously, Carina has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit as Co-Owner of Stationery Shop in Almada, Setúbal, Portugal, where she has overseen operations and brought innovative thinking to a retail setting. She also held the position of Head of People & Culture at Paybyrd, a prominent personalized payment platform in Europe, where she designed and implemented HR strategies across multiple geographies, managed recruitment, developed training programs, and launched organizational culture initiatives to drive employee engagement and performance.

In addition to her corporate roles, Carina has been an active member of the PWN Lisbon YOUTH Program Coordination Team, contributing to the development of leadership, personal branding, and career skills among young professionals in Portugal.

Earlier in her career, Carina Figueira built a strong foundation as a Trainer and Senior Career Consultant at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics for over eleven years, and as a Career Advisor & Recruiting Manager at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She has also provided freelance HR consulting and held key roles at Jason Associates, where she managed employer branding and recruitment projects, further solidifying her expertise in the HR domain.
