Pune, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 — Arun Jalali has started a new position as Vice President – Customer Care (NVB, Service, Parts) at EKA, marking a major leadership milestone in his distinguished automotive, aftersales, customer care, and commercial vehicle services career spanning over three decades. In this strategic role, Jalali will lead non-vehicular business, AMC operations, service, parts, customer care, depot operations, technical support, and aftermarket growth for EKA vehicles across India and global markets.
Before joining EKA, Jalali served as Head – After Sales & Supply Chain (Auto Distribution) at Tata International Limited, where he led regional aftersales and supply chain operations across multiple African markets. His tenure focused on operational excellence, inventory optimization, dealer performance, financial improvement, warranty management, sustainability initiatives, and large-scale service transformation.
Prior to Tata International, Jalali built an extensive leadership journey at Tata Motors, where he spent over a decade in senior national and regional customer care leadership roles. His positions included Senior General Manager and National Head – Customer Care (Small Commercial Vehicles Cargo and Pickup), Country Head for Service & Technical Function, Country Head – Field Service, and regional business leadership across North and South India. During this period, he drove aftersales strategy, service excellence, customer support transformation, field service governance, fleet maintenance innovation, and nationwide commercial vehicle service growth.
Earlier in his career, Jalali spent over 13 years with Tata Cummins Limited, where he served in business management and regional leadership capacities, and began his professional journey with Eicher Tractors Limited as an Executive Engineer.
His broad expertise spans customer care, aftersales, service operations, supply chain, field support, parts management, dealer ecosystems, technical support, fleet management, and strategic business transformation across automotive and commercial vehicle sectors.
