Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, May 2024 – Britt S. Griffin has taken on a new role as Chief People Officer at IndyGo. With extensive experience in human resources, Britt will align IndyGo’s HR programs with strategic objectives, manage all HR activities, and oversee the Department of People to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
Britt’s most recent role was at Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives, Inc. (IEA), where she served as Vice President of People & Culture and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging. Over her two-year tenure, she led the People & Culture/Human Resources functional area, including culture strategy, DEI&B, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management. She collaborated with the executive leadership team to embed people & culture and DEI strategies throughout the company.
Before IEA, Britt worked at Medxcel Facilities Management, where she was the Director of Human Resources for two years. She led a team of HR professionals responsible for developing and implementing talent strategies, contributing to business strategy, and managing the HR analytics function. Britt was also a member of the DEI council, shaping the strategy and contributing to the mission.
Britt also served as Vice President of Human Resources at Damar Services, Inc. for over a year. She managed a team of HR professionals, partnered with the CHRO to develop HR metrics, co-led the development of the Talent Acquisition and HR Operations strategy, and implemented various HR initiatives, including the company’s first manager and new hire recruiting diagnostic survey and exit survey tool.
Earlier in her career, Britt was the Senior Director Human Resources and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at STANLEY Security for eight months. She led talent management and DEI initiatives, designed the company’s first-ever DEI strategy, and managed the HR department for a new startup global division.
Additional Experience: Britt has held significant HR roles at Homepoint, JD Finish Line, Anthem, Inc., Veolia North America, Centene Corporation, Indiana University Health, Associated Estates Realty Corp, and KellyOCG. Her extensive experience spans strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition, DEI, employee engagement, HR analytics, and more.
