PARIS, FRANCE — Bruno Laforge has been named Chief Human Resources Officer for Capgemini’s operations in France, stepping into his new role after a dynamic year within the company focused on HR transformation. Laforge’s appointment underscores his rich background in human resources and his readiness to lead strategic initiatives that support the company’s business challenges.
Laforge’s tenure at Capgemini began over a year ago, and he quickly ascended from Vice President of HR and Deputy Head of Global Transformation to his current position. His recent role involved providing strategic HR insights at the international level through BL Rethink.HR, where he has been active since January 2023, enhancing organizational design and executive mentoring.
Before Capgemini, Laforge held significant roles at major corporations including EUROAPI and Sanofi. At EUROAPI, he served as the Chief Human Resources & Corporate Affairs Officer, where he mastered the intricacies of HR policy and organizational leadership across multiple regions. During his time at Sanofi, Laforge was instrumental in leading HR for the Europe & France sectors and the global Business HR for the Sanofi Transformation Office, indicating his adept skill in managing large-scale HR functions across a complex corporate structure.
Laforge’s earlier roles include pivotal positions at Geoservices and Office Depot, where he developed expertise in global HR management and strategic leadership, handling tasks from policy development to mergers and acquisitions. His career also spans significant tenures at Johnson & Johnson and Volkswagen, where he honed his capabilities in organizational law and HR management.
