Kochi, Kerala, India, April 2025 – Byju Koshy Philip has joined Bioingredia Natural Pvt Ltd as the Head of Human Resources, bringing with him nearly two decades of progressive HR leadership experience. In this pivotal role, he will lead the company’s people strategy, overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and HR transformation initiatives as Bioingredia scales its global operations.
Prior to joining Bioingredia, Byju Koshy Philip served as Assistant General Manager – HR at Deepak Fertilisers And Petrochemicals Corp. Ltd., where he led strategic HR initiatives including large-scale talent acquisition, performance management, and post-demerger organizational restructuring. His interventions helped scale the workforce by 120% in key business units and significantly improved employee engagement and retention.
Earlier, he spent nearly 10 years at Symega Food Ingredients Ltd., where he played a transformative role as Head – HR. He led HR through a period of exponential growth, increasing manpower from 80 to 650 employees and implementing HRMS solutions like PeopleStrong and SAP. His work in change management, mergers, and employee engagement helped achieve an 88% engagement score.
Byju also held a key role at ITC Infotech as Assistant Manager – Business HR, where he was known for his focus on compliance, training, and retention. He introduced innovative training frameworks and HR shared services models that drove continuous learning and operational efficiency across units.
He began his career in operations at Dell Technologies, where he implemented morale-boosting initiatives like the “Fun for 15 minutes” engagement program while managing high-volume order processing within the ARB vertical.
