Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden, September 2024 – Camilla Schmidt has been appointed as the new Head of People & Culture at Akind, effective September 2024. In this role, Schmidt will oversee all aspects of people management and organizational culture, aiming to foster a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Prior to joining Akind, Camilla Schmidt was an HR Business Partner at Akind for approximately 2 years and 1 month, where she played a key role in HR strategy and employee relations.
Before her tenure at Akind, Schmidt worked as a People & Performance Partner at AW Group for about 6 months, focusing on enhancing employee performance and engagement.
Schmidt’s extensive experience also includes over 11 years at Academic Work Sweden, where she held several roles, including Labour Law Specialist for 6 years and 5 months. During this time, she managed labor law issues and compliance, and also served as Team Manager Labour Law for 1 year and 5 months.
Earlier, Schmidt was the Head of Talent Acquisition at Academic Work for approximately 2 years and 8 months, where she was responsible for talent acquisition strategies. Her career there began as a Consultant Manager and Candidate Coordinator.
She also worked as an HR-assistant at OneMed Group for 5 months, where she gained initial experience in HR functions.
