Houston, Texas, United States, October 2024 – Carmen Melendez has been appointed as Head of Talent Management, North America at CEVA Logistics, where she will lead talent management initiatives for the company across the region.
Carmen has been with CEVA Logistics for over 11 years, holding various leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Human Resources Manager – Freight Management, overseeing HR strategy for over 800 employees across Texas, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and operational objectives.
Before that, she worked as Recruiting Manager, North America, leading talent acquisition strategies across the region for almost 3 years. Carmen also held the role of Senior Recruiter, North America for around 7 years, overseeing recruitment for executive-level positions across multiple functions and ensuring the alignment of recruitment efforts with CEVA’s strategic goals.
Prior to joining CEVA, Carmen worked in the real estate and property management sectors. She served as a Property Manager at Hills Properties, where she managed recruitment, training, and operations of a luxury residential property. Additionally, she worked as an Employee Development and Training Specialist at MetroNational, where she focused on employee development programs, talent acquisition, and training strategies.
