Rindge, New Hampshire, United States, May 2024 – Catherine Weitz is delighted to announce her new role as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer at Franklin Pierce University. With more than 35 years of experience in human resources, operations management, and the education sector, Catherine brings a wealth of expertise to her new position. She will be responsible for overseeing HR functions and driving strategic initiatives to enhance the university’s workforce management.
Catherine’s most recent role was at Marymount University, where she served as Human Resources/Finance/Operations Consultant. Over her year and four-month tenure, she also held the position of Interim Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. In these roles, Catherine managed HR operations, finance, and strategic initiatives, contributing significantly to the university’s overall performance.
Before Marymount University, Catherine worked at Boise as a Human Resources Executive for about six months. She was responsible for leading HR strategies and operations, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Catherine also served as the Associate Vice President Human Resources at Boise State University for over a year. In this role, she managed HR operations, payroll, and benefits, and developed processes to enhance employee engagement and organizational efficiency.
Prior to Boise State University, she was the Human Resources Director at Perfect Plumbing, Heating and Air for approximately nine months. Catherine led HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and policy implementation, driving improvements in HR practices.
Additional Experience: Catherine has held significant HR roles in various organizations, including AdvisoryCloud as an Advisor, Boise State University in multiple roles such as Director HR Operations, Total Rewards | Compensation | Payroll | Benefits, University of Idaho as a Business Analyst, and American Express as a Business Analyst. Her extensive experience encompasses HR strategy, operations, compensation management, and employee relations.
