Hyderabad, Telangana, India, October 2025 — Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan (Chandru) has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer at Amara Raja Group, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career spanning over two decades in business growth, brand transformation, and strategic leadership across global markets. In his new role, Chandru will oversee strategic business development, P&L operations, and customer-centric innovation for Amara Raja’s flagship automotive business, Amaron — driving sustainable growth and enterprise transformation.
Before joining Amara Raja Group, Chandru served as Head of Business Growth (Emerging Mobility) at Hero MotoCorp, where he led global marketing, sales, after-sales, and digital customer experience functions. During his tenure, he was instrumental in shaping the company’s emerging mobility strategy, steering brand transformation, and strengthening its customer engagement frameworks in the fast-evolving EV landscape.
Previously, Chandru was the Group Chief Marketing Officer at Emaar Group, overseeing marketing across its global real estate, hospitality, and retail businesses. He also served as Vice President – Strategy & Insights at Coca-Cola India & South West Asia, where he launched the pioneering Knowledge Hub, embedding data-driven decision-making and innovation across business verticals.
Earlier in his career, Chandru spent over eight years at Nestlé, including global assignments in Switzerland as Global Project Lead (Marketing & Communication) at Nestec S.A. and regional leadership roles across South Asia. His extensive career also includes senior leadership positions at Bharti Airtel, Marico, and Britannia Industries, where he drove large-scale marketing transformations and brand portfolio growth.
