Geetaj Channana appointed Chief Corporate Communications Officer at vivo India

Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2026 — Geetaj Channana has started a new position as Chief Corporate Communications Officer at vivo India. He steps into the role after serving as Head of Corporate Communications, continuing his leadership journey within the organization across corporate communications, media relations, crisis communications, and brand reputation.

In his career journey at vivo India, Geetaj Channana served as Head of Corporate Communications from March 2020 to March 2026, based in Gurugram. With his elevation to Chief Corporate Communications Officer, he will lead the corporate communications agenda for the company, drawing on experience across public relations, marketing strategy, CSR communications, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining vivo India, he was associated with MSL, Publicis Groupe as Vice President – Technology Communications, where he worked across technology communications and media relations mandates.

Alongside this, he was also a Co-Owner at CaFe 21, and previously worked with 20:20 MSL as Associate Vice President, building strong experience across integrated communications and corporate communications leadership.

Earlier, he served at Text 100 (now Archetype) as Senior Consultant and National Digital Lead, leading digital communications and managing integrated communications campaigns for clients including Facebook, Samsung, Sapient, Saavn, Pantum and Bharti SoftBank.

Before that, he held editorial leadership roles including Editorial Head, Technology – NDTV Convergence at NDTV, Executive Editor, CTO Forum at 9.9 Media, and Associate Editor (Online) at Mindworks Global Media Services. His earlier experience also includes roles at TV Today as Senior Producer, at IDG Media as Technical Editor, and at CyberMedia in labs and consumer technology content roles.

Geetaj Channana is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, where he completed PGCBM in Business Administration and Management.
