London, England, United Kingdom, March 2026 — Alma Browne has been promoted to Vice President Human Resources (VP, People) at Nium, where she will lead the global people function. In this expanded role, she will focus on strengthening people strategy and leadership development aligned with business growth.
In her journey at Nium, Alma Browne has been serving as Vice President Human Resources since March 2023, bringing experience in executive development and human capital management, and supporting the people agenda at a global money movement platform.
Prior to joining Nium, she served as VP, People at Phrasee, based in London, where she led people priorities within a technology environment. Earlier, she worked at Snap Inc. as HRBP – International, supporting HR business partnering across international teams.
Before that, Alma Browne spent nearly four years with Groupon, serving as Global HRBP, Engineering, Product and Design, and earlier as Head of HR, APAC Tigers, supporting multiple markets across APAC. She also worked with ESPN STAR Sports as Human Resource Business Partner, Asia, and began her HR journey with Google, serving as an HR Specialist across roles in Ireland and later in Google’s broader HR function. Her early experience also includes an Administration Assistant role at Inter-Group Ltd.
