Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, June 2025 – Che Solomon has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources at AUSIEX, marking a significant milestone in their career journey. In this elevated role, Che will lead the people and culture agenda, partnering with the executive team to shape and drive HR strategies that align with AUSIEX’s growth and innovation in financial services.
Che Solomon brings deep expertise to this position, having served for nearly five years at AUSIEX. Most recently, as National People & Culture Leader, Che led the people and culture and talent acquisition teams, building capability, embedding culture, and implementing people strategies tailored to AUSIEX’s unique needs as a growing standalone business. Their leadership has been instrumental in shaping HR systems and driving business-aligned outcomes.
Before joining AUSIEX, Che contributed over two years at the Commonwealth Bank, first as People Consulting Manager, providing strategic HR consultancy during AUSIEX’s divestment and Day 1 build, and then as Human Resources Manager – Retail Banking Services, where they partnered with key business functions such as Group Marketing, Data Science, and Retail Banking Services to drive talent and culture initiatives.
Earlier, Che spent over seven years at Westpac Group, holding both strategic and operational HR roles. As Business Manager, Westpac Premium, and through various HR Manager roles, Che partnered with business segments across Australia and Asia, supporting strategic marketing and leadership capability for premium client services.
Che’s career began at TNT, where they worked as National People and Organisational Development Officer for almost four years, gaining early experience in people development, organizational culture, and HR best practices.
Che Solomon holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of Technology, Sydney and has completed the Asialink Leaders Program at the University of Melbourne.
