Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Chetan S Sharma has been appointed as the National Program Head – Pioneer Wealth Management – Branch Banking at IndusInd Bank, where he will lead the Pioneer Wealth Vertical for the Branch Banking division, focusing on wealth management strategies and premium banking services across the bank’s national operations.
Chetan S Sharma has been with IndusInd Bank for over 13 years, holding multiple senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as SVP & Country Head – BBG Synergy Wealth Management & Premium Acquisition Channel, where he led key initiatives to expand premium wealth and acquisition strategies. Before this, he was SVP & National Head – Pioneer Wealth Management – Emerging Markets, driving the segment’s success across multiple geographies. His earlier roles include SVP & National Sales Head – Exclusive Wealth Management for Emerging Markets, where he successfully increased fee revenue and CASA book growth significantly.

Prior to his tenure at IndusInd Bank, Chetan S Sharma worked with Royal Bank of Scotland as Vice President and Head Bancassurance for Western India Region, leading revenue growth and product innovation. He also served as Vice President and Cluster Head – NRI Client Relationship at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where he expanded the offshore and onshore assets significantly and built a strong NRI client base.
