Milan, Lombardy, Italy, January 2026 – Chiara Majoli has taken on the role of Group Chief People Officer at Ermenegildo Zegna Group, marking a significant step in her long-standing journey with the global luxury house. In this position, she acts as a key integrator across brands and corporate functions, aligning people strategy, culture, and leadership with business objectives to enable collaboration, transformation, and sustainable growth at the group level.
Chiara has been part of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group for over five years, previously serving as Group Human Resources Director. During this tenure, she played a pivotal role in shaping enterprise-wide HR strategy, strengthening leadership capabilities, and supporting the integration of diverse luxury brands under a unified cultural and organizational framework.
Before her group-level responsibilities, she spent more than four years with Zegna as HR & Organization Director HQ and later as EMEA HR Director. Based in Milan, she led regional people strategies, organizational design, and change initiatives that supported the brand’s global expansion while preserving its heritage-driven identity.
Earlier in her career, Chiara contributed over two years at Generali, serving as Head of Group Organization and later Head of HR&O at Generali Real Estate. Her work focused on organizational transformation, governance structures, and HR integration across a complex multinational insurance environment.
She also spent nearly three years with Ariston Thermo Group as Group Organization and Processes Manager, where she drove process optimization and organizational effectiveness across Italy. Prior to this, Chiara held dual roles at Piazza Sempione S.p.A. as HR & Organization Director and Supply Chain & Organization Manager, gaining valuable exposure to the intersection of people management and operational excellence in the fashion industry.
Her early professional foundation includes roles at RCS Mediagroup as Organization Specialist, Hitman S.p.A. – Cerruti Group as Project Manager Organization, and A.T. Kearney as Senior Business Analyst, where she developed strong capabilities in strategy consulting, organizational design, and business transformation.
