Chinmaya brings with him a distinguished career in HR leadership and transformation, most recently serving as Head – Business HR at RPG Life Sciences, where he oversaw strategic HR functions aligned with business goals. Prior to that, he played a pivotal role as Associate Vice President & Head – HR at Akumentis Healthcare, contributing significantly to policy reforms, organizational restructuring, and building a performance-driven culture. Under his HR stewardship, Akumentis received several accolades, including being recognized as the fastest-growing pharma company and achieving multiple national and international awards.
Earlier in his career, Chinmaya spent nearly seven years at RPG Life Sciences Ltd., where he served in multiple capacities, including Head – HR & Sales Force Effectiveness, and led the company’s digital HR transformation and talent practices. He also held HR leadership roles at Wockhardt, Panacea Biotec, and began his career in sales roles with Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and Torrent Pharmaceuticals, giving him a well-rounded view of commercial and people functions in the pharmaceutical industry.
Chinmaya is an alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, where he earned an Executive PG Diploma in HRM. He also holds credentials from NIHRD, Madras, Indian School of Business, and Berhampur University, combining academic excellence with practical leadership. His appointment signals Wallace Pharmaceuticals’ commitment to nurturing a high-performance, people-centric culture as it continues expanding globally.
