Ely, England, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Chris Cooke has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Micron Research Limited, bringing a wealth of expertise in financial leadership, strategic planning, and business transformation. In this new role, Chris will oversee the financial operations of the Micron Group, ensuring continued growth and operational excellence.
Chris Cooke most recently served as a Strategy Consultant at Red Meadow Ltd, where he provided strategic guidance to organizations in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. His interim leadership and project-based support helped companies optimize operations and achieve business growth.
Previously, Chris was the Chief Executive Officer at Biocair, a position he held for over eight years. Under his leadership, the company expanded its revenue from £15 million to £93 million, established new subsidiaries in multiple countries, and successfully navigated challenges like Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before Biocair, Chris served as the Group Chief Financial Officer at International Bonded Courier, where he restructured the group to achieve tax efficiency and led the creation of new global capabilities. Earlier roles included Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Biocair International Limited, where he turned the business around to profitability and facilitated its successful sale.
Chris’s extensive background also includes financial leadership positions at Bernard Hodes Group, Analysys, and Delcam, where he demonstrated expertise in performance turnaround, financial structuring, and venture capital.
