Gorman, known for championing work that expands opportunity and strengthens economic access, joins Flex at a pivotal moment as the company scales its mission to help people pay for what matters most. His appointment underscores Flex’s commitment to building an intentional, people-centered organization while investing in systems and practices that enable employees to thrive.

Prior to joining Flex, Chris Gorman served as Head of Talent Acquisition at Block for nearly a year, where he played a key role in shaping recruitment strategy for one of the world’s most innovative fintech ecosystems. His work focused on aligning hiring practices with business transformation and strengthening the organization’s talent infrastructure.
Before Block, Gorman spent over six years at Cash App, most recently as Head of People and Places. In this role, he led global people strategy across HR, talent management, learning and development, inclusion and diversity, communications, and workplace experience. He was instrumental in supporting 10X employee growth and expanding teams across Europe, APAC, and North America while partnering closely with the C-suite on organization design and M&A initiatives. Earlier at Cash App, he headed Real Estate, Workplace, and Employee Experience, driving large-scale portfolio expansion and operational efficiencies.
Gorman’s earlier tenure at Square spanned nearly seven years, where he built a world-class Real Estate & Workplace function, growing the global portfolio from 400,000 to nearly 2 million square feet and establishing scalable workplace systems during a period of hyper-growth. He also held leadership roles at Apple Retail, Lucky Brand, Martin + Osa, Banana Republic, Coach, and Ralph Lauren, developing deep expertise in customer and employee experience at some of the world’s most respected brands.
