Anchorage, Alaska, United States, July 2025 – Christopher St. John has joined Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) as Sr. Director of HR Operations, bringing with him over two decades of leadership experience in human resources, talent acquisition, and strategic business operations. In his new role, Christopher will oversee HR operational excellence across ASRC’s diverse business portfolio, supporting its mission to serve its Iñupiaq shareholders and global workforce.
Prior to joining ASRC, Christopher served as Human Resources Manager at Hilcorp, where he led HR functions for one of the largest privately held oil and gas companies in the U.S., based in Anchorage. His tenure focused on talent alignment, workforce engagement, and leadership support.
Earlier, he spent over four years at Airswift, progressing from Business Manager to Regional Director – Alaska. He managed a $45 million portfolio while leading talent acquisition, HR operations, and business development. His leadership was instrumental in client and employee retention, KPI performance, and local market expansion through strategic partnerships.
Before Airswift, Christopher held key HR and recruitment roles at Wood, where he supported large-scale hiring projects, and Kelly Services, where he served as District Manager for Alaska, leading strategic growth and quality assurance initiatives across the state.
Earlier in his career, Christopher led advertising and account services at MSI Communications, where he managed client strategy, branding, and public relations. His career foundation was built in the U.S. Navy, where over nearly 11 years he held multiple leadership roles in HR management, talent acquisition, and recruiting training across the U.S., earning national recognition for performance and leadership excellence.
