London, England, United Kingdom, January 2026 — Egis has elevated Claire Davies to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), Europe and Africa (EURA). In her new position, Davies will be responsible for driving operational excellence, financial discipline, and organisational effectiveness across Egis’ Europe and Africa region, while supporting teams to deliver high-impact outcomes for clients and ensure employees continue to feel valued and supported.
Davies’ promotion follows nearly seven and a half years with Egis, where she has played a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s UK footprint, accelerating growth, and enabling successful integration and transformation programs across multiple business lines.
In her new role at Egis, Claire Davies has stepped into the position of COO, Europe and Africa, based in the London Area, United Kingdom. Having recently completed around four and a half years leading the growth and integration of Egis’ UK business, she now moves into a broader regional leadership role, supporting operational effectiveness across a significantly expanded geography.
Prior to this appointment, Davies served for nearly five years as Managing Director, Egis – UK, where she led the company’s rapidly growing UK business spanning road operations, mobility & urban services, architecture, consultancy, and engineering, with sector exposure across transportation, nuclear, energy, water, and buildings. Her tenure is marked by delivering transformation and building scalable capabilities as the UK business entered a stronger growth trajectory.
Overlapping with this leadership period, Davies also served for close to four years as CEO, Egis Aviation UK, leading Egis’ aviation business in the UK, including governance responsibilities across the aviation vertical and consulting engagement, while also overseeing a branch office in Slovakia.
Before joining Egis, Davies spent nearly seven years with Helios | Aviation Consultancy (later becoming Egis), where she progressed from Senior Consultant to Principal Consultant, and then to Director, Aviation. Across these roles, she led consulting assignments for European institutional clients, coordinated multi-country aviation portfolios, and contributed to significant workstreams including the Single European Sky initiative on behalf of the European Commission, while advising clients on governance, strategy, and long-term uncertainty management.
Earlier in her career, Davies spent around seven years at Curtis+Cartwright Consulting, including time as a Researcher and later as a Consultant, delivering consultancy projects focused on the UK public sector, central government, and higher education in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
Davies holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Bristol and an MChem with study in Industry (Chemistry) from The University of Sheffield — an academic foundation that complements her structured leadership approach and strong analytical orientation.
