London, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Claire Hunt has been named Regional Head of Talent Acquisition – Europe at HSBC. In her new role, Claire will lead the talent acquisition strategy across 18 European markets, including France, Germany, and Switzerland, driving strategic hiring initiatives and enhancing HSBC’s talent proposition.
With a proven track record in talent acquisition and HR leadership, Claire most recently served as Senior Talent Acquisition Manager – Europe at HSBC, where she spearheaded initiatives to refine the bank’s emerging talent strategy and foster a more intentional hiring approach for early career roles. She also led the launch of the region’s first Talent Acquisition Academy, designed to upskill the recruitment community, and contributed to HSBC’s Employee Value Proposition strategy to elevate internal and external engagement.
Before HSBC, Claire held leadership roles at TikTok, where she built and led a team during a hyper-growth phase, implementing global recruitment processes that improved candidate experience. She also created a global Rotation Programme to address attrition and engagement. Earlier in her career, she worked at Microsoft, focusing on global HR leadership hiring and diversity initiatives, and at Robert Walters, where she led HR talent acquisition teams across New South Wales.
