Auckland, New Zealand — Clive Jardine has been named the new Head of Human Resources SP at Danone NZ, starting April 2024. Bringing an extensive array of skills and a rich history of HR leadership across multiple continents, Jardine is well-prepared to steer Danone NZ’s human resources strategies toward sustained growth and innovation.
Before his new role at Danone NZ, Jardine excelled as the HR Director for Kerry Group’s Global Business Services (GBS) in Kuala Lumpur. There, he played a pivotal role in establishing a digital and service solutions hub, significantly enhancing the company’s operational capabilities and successfully integrating a diverse, multilingual team to support both European and Asia-Pacific markets.
Prior to his tenure at Kerry, Jardine directed human resources for the Southern Africa (SSA) region at another organization from May 2019 to March 2021. In Durban, South Africa, he was instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that included capability building, union negotiations, and extensive workforce planning.
His previous roles also include serving as the HR Director for SSA & MENAT regions, where he combined strategic planning with hands-on leadership to oversee significant HR functions across both South African and Middle Eastern markets from October 2017 to April 2019.
Jardine’s career foundation was built through impactful HR roles at prominent organizations such as Unilever, where he managed a variety of strategic HR functions, including leadership development, employee relations, and labor law compliance, significantly enhancing HR operations and contributing to organizational success.
