Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia, January 2026 — Coras has welcomed Hannah Dawes to the organisation as Director – People & Culture, strengthening its leadership team with an experienced people leader known for building practical, accountable, and sustainable people practices.
In her new role, Hannah Dawes will lead Coras’ people and culture agenda, supporting the firm’s growth while ensuring that people strategy remains closely aligned with delivery, leadership effectiveness, and organisational values. She brings a people-first mindset grounded in clarity, accountability, and real-world application across complex environments.
Prior to joining Coras, Hannah most recently held senior leadership roles at Empact Group, where she served as Principal and Acting General Manager, working across consulting delivery and internal leadership. Her experience across both billable and internal roles has given her a strong understanding of how people strategy directly supports performance, culture, and sustainable growth.
Before that, she was Head of Talent, Engagement & Development at Tesserent (now Thales Cybersecurity Services ANZ), following her role as Head of Corporate Services at centreRED IT. Across these positions, she led people, development, corporate services, and organisational initiatives within fast-growing and highly regulated environments.
Earlier in her career, Hannah served as People Director at Synergy Group, and held senior operational leadership roles at Marathon Health Australia, ActewAGL, Argyle Housing, and Lifeline Australia. Her background spans community services, infrastructure, utilities, consulting, and internal leadership, giving her a uniquely broad perspective on people and organisational development.
