Portland, Oregon, United States, March 2025 – Vernier Science Education has announced the appointment of Corey Routh as its new Chief People Officer, effective March 2025. In his new role, Corey will lead the company’s people and culture strategy, further strengthening Vernier’s reputation as a top employer and a mission-driven innovator in STEM education.
Corey brings over two decades of HR leadership experience, most recently serving as Principal at Meraki Organizational Development Consulting, where he advised organizations on culture, neurodiversity, and executive leadership development. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors at iSocial, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting neurodiverse individuals.

Before this, Corey was the Vice President of Human Resources at New Seasons Market, where he guided the B Corp-certified company through rapid expansion, new market entries, and multiple organizational redesigns over nearly nine years. His leadership contributed to numerous employment awards and accolades.
Earlier, Corey held strategic HR roles with Sage Hospitality Group, KinderCare Learning Companies, VF Corporation (Lucy Activewear Division), and Abercrombie & Fitch, where he played a pivotal role in brand launches, international expansion, and DEIA strategy. His foundational HR experience began at H&R Block, where he worked closely with company founder Henry Block during a key transitional phase.
