New Delhi, Delhi, India, February 2026 – Dabur India Limited has announced the appointment of Herjit S. Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer – India Business, effective April 15, 2026. He will report to Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global CEO of the company. In this leadership role, Herjit will steer Dabur’s India operations, driving growth, market expansion, and brand leadership across the company’s diverse portfolio.
Herjit joins Dabur after an accomplished tenure at The Hershey Company, where he held multiple global leadership roles over more than eight years. Most recently, he served as Vice President Canada & Global Customers, following mandates as Vice President Canada & AMEA and earlier Vice President India and AEMEA. Prior to these roles, he was Managing Director – India, where he strengthened Hershey’s India footprint and expanded regional market presence across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Before Hershey, Herjit was Chief Operating Officer North & East at METRO Cash & Carry India Private Limited, leading growth and expansion initiatives across key markets and serving on the Executive Board. Earlier, he spent over 16 years at Hindustan Unilever Ltd, holding several senior leadership roles including General Manager Customer Development North and Marketing Director Foods – Russia, Ukraine & Belarus. During his tenure, he led large teams, managed multi-brand portfolios, delivered consistent double-digit growth, and drove market share gains across competitive global markets. He holds a PGPM in Marketing from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
