In her new role, Dana will drive the strategic vision and execution of Avalara’s global talent acquisition efforts, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives and fostering a high-impact recruiting organization.
Dana brings a wealth of experience in talent acquisition and HR leadership. Before this role, she served as Director of Global TA Programs and Operations at Avalara, where she led a team of 21 professionals, streamlining talent acquisition processes, enhancing technology platforms, and implementing data-driven recruiting strategies. She also contributed significantly to Avalara’s global recruitment operations, ensuring scalable workflows with localized adaptability.
Prior to joining Avalara, Dana held senior positions at Western Union, where she led a team of over 50 professionals globally, managing areas such as talent acquisition enablement, executive recruitment, branding, and technology integration. Earlier in her career, she worked at Paradox as a Talent Acquisition Solutions Architect and at WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone, where she built and led a centralized talent acquisition function, achieving exceptional results in recruitment efficiency and employer branding.
