Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom, March 2025 – David Bartley has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at Bede Gaming. In his new role, he will oversee people strategy, talent management, and HR operations as the company continues its growth in the online gaming sector.
David Bartley has been with Bede Gaming for nearly two years, having previously served as Head of People, where he played a key role in driving talent engagement and HR transformation. His leadership and strategic focus on people management led to his promotion to Chief People Officer.
Prior to joining Bede Gaming, Bartley served as Head of People at Runa, where he spent nearly a year leading HR operations and organizational development. Before that, he was Head of People at FutureOn, a role he held for over a year, focusing on HR strategies for business growth.
His extensive experience also includes Head of People at Callsign, where he led people operations for over a year, and Head of HR at Yoti Ltd, where he contributed to the company’s expansion from 75 to over 300 employees globally.
Earlier in his career, Bartley spent nearly four years at Playtech, where he worked on HR projects and M&A initiatives in Gibraltar. He also held various HR roles at PokerStrategy.com, including HR Manager and HR Generalist, gaining strong expertise in HR systems and people management.
David Bartley holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Newcastle University, further strengthening his expertise in HR leadership and strategy.
