Fischamend, Lower Austria, Austria, March 2025 – Roland Kargl has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at cargo-partner. In his new role, he will oversee human resources strategy, talent management, and organizational development as the company continues to expand its global footprint.
Roland Kargl has been with cargo-partner for nearly four years, progressively taking on leadership roles in human resources. Most recently, he served as Director Human Resources Headquarters for nearly two years, where he played a key role in shaping HR strategies. Before that, he held the position of Director Human Resources Headquarters & Austria, where he was responsible for HR operations across multiple locations. His earlier roles at the company include Director Human Resources Headquarters, showcasing his deep involvement in the company’s HR transformation.
Prior to joining cargo-partner, Kargl spent nearly 15 years at Kwizda Holding, holding various senior HR leadership roles. As Senior HR Business Partner / Head of Corporate Organizational and HR Development, he led key HR initiatives focused on employee engagement and leadership development. Earlier at Kwizda, he served as Manager Konzern Personalentwicklung, overseeing HR development at a corporate level.
Before his tenure at Kwizda, he worked at mobilkom austria for over four years as an HR Expert and Project Manager, contributing to strategic HR projects. Additionally, he worked as a Consultant at Wentner-Havranek Unternehmensberatung and as a Specialist in Personal Controlling & HR Systems at one GmbH, further enriching his expertise in HR strategy and systems.
