London, United Kingdom, August 2024 – David Purcell has taken on the role of Head of Group People Services at Lloyds Banking Group. In this new position, David will lead the transformation of the group’s People Services delivery function, focusing on evolving the current operations into a future-facing, highly automated, and agile service that leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance colleague experiences.
Prior to joining Lloyds Banking Group, David served as Director / People Services Lead EMEA at CBRE for approximately 1.5 years. In this role, he led the People Shared Services operating model and oversaw the People Service Centre for the EMEA region, supporting all CBRE entities.
David also has a significant tenure at Deutsche Bank, where he spent around 19 years in various leadership roles. His last position there was Director / Global Payroll Governance Head / Workday Implementation Lead Global Payroll for about 4 years. Here, David executed a global payroll strategy across 50 countries and played a crucial role in the implementation of Workday across the organization.
