Roy has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Motovolt Mobility, where he will lead the company’s HR strategy, focusing on organizational development, HR automation, and talent management. Roy’s appointment marks a significant step forward for Motovolt Mobility as it continues to innovate in the e-mobility industry.
Before joining Motovolt Mobility, Debraj S. Roy served as Head of HR at Lux Industries Limited for nearly three years. During his tenure, he spearheaded HR transformation, process improvement, and strategic human resources initiatives that enhanced operational efficiency and employer branding.

Prior to Lux Industries, Roy was Head of HR at Indorama Ventures PCL, where he contributed to HR analytics, compensation and benefits, and payroll systems, driving efficiency across key HR operations.
Roy also held the role of Regional Head of Human Resources, Facilities, and CSR at Sony, where he managed strategic HR leadership for over four years, strengthening HR analytics and operations.
His earlier career includes leadership roles at Indus Towers Limited as Circle Head HR and Business HR Head East at Abbott, where he managed diverse HR functions, including talent acquisition, grievance handling, and capability building across a wide geographic span.
