Chicago, Illinois, United States, March 2026 — Deepa Abi has started a new role as Head of GBS Strategy and Transformation at Kraft Heinz. Based in Chicago, she moves into this position after serving as Head of North America GBS, bringing broad experience across operating model design, process excellence, large-scale transformation, digital strategy, and global service delivery.
In her journey at Kraft Heinz, Deepa Abi previously led North America GBS, with responsibilities spanning operations, service delivery, process leadership, process excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation. With this transition to Head of GBS Strategy and Transformation, she will focus on shaping and advancing strategic and transformation priorities within the GBS organization.
Before joining Kraft Heinz, she was an Independent Executive in a part-time capacity, working remotely and focusing on areas including digital strategy, business strategy, return on investment, global delivery, organizational design, people development, and artificial intelligence.
Earlier, Deepa Abi served at Warner Music Group as VP, Global Process and Digital Transformation, leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across process and digital priorities. Prior to that, she worked at S&P Global Ratings as Senior Director – Enterprise Transformation, Organization, and Operating Model Design, focusing on organization and operating model design aligned to enterprise transformation.
Her earlier experience also includes leadership roles at Genpact as Vice President – Global Technology and earlier as Assistant Vice President – Business Transformation and Change Management, along with roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Director, Operational Excellence Network, Accenture as Accenture Credit Services – North America Operational Excellence Leader, and GE as Manager, Operations and Quality, building a foundation across operational excellence, transformation, and cross-functional leadership.
