Loma Linda, California, United States, March 2025 – Denton Gruzensky has joined Loma Linda University Health as Vice President, Human Resource Management, bringing more than two decades of HR leadership experience in the healthcare industry. In this role, he will oversee strategic HR initiatives, leadership development, and workforce planning to support the organization’s commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Prior to this appointment, Gruzensky served as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer at Bay Area Hospital, where he played a key role in cultural transformation and performance management initiatives. Before that, he was Interim SVP & Chief HR Officer at Asante, where he focused on executive leadership visibility and workforce development.
His career includes a tenure as Chief Human Resources Officer at Peterson Health, where he led organizational effectiveness strategies, succession planning, and HR transformation. He also spent nearly 18 years at Adventist Health, serving in multiple senior HR leadership roles, including Vice President of Human Resources for the Central California Region. During his time there, he spearheaded engagement and leadership development programs, improving associate engagement and retention rates across multiple hospitals.
Gruzensky holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from La Sierra University and has extensive expertise in cultural transformation, talent strategy, and executive leadership development.
