Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, May 2024 – Dhaval Mankad has recently joined Vadilal Industries Limited as the Vice President – Information Technology (CIO). In his new role, Dhaval will lead the IT operations, driving digital transformation and leveraging technology to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
Dhaval’s most recent role was as Vice President – Information Technology at Havmor Ice Cream Private Limited. During his six-year tenure, he managed IT operations and digital transformation initiatives, focusing on process automation, data-driven decision-making, and enhancing productivity. He also led a team of 20 and managed multiple outsourcing contracts.
Before joining Havmor, Dhaval spent nearly nine years at Larsen & Toubro Limited as Senior Deputy General Manager-IT. He spearheaded digital transformation across various functions, managed IT infrastructure and security, and oversaw SAP implementations. Dhaval led a high-performing team and managed IT services for over 5000 employees across multiple group companies and project sites.
Dhaval also served as Senior Manager-IT at Pipavav Shipyard Limited for nearly two years, where he established enterprise IT infrastructure and applications for a greenfield shipbuilding project supporting over 1000 employees.
Earlier in his career, Dhaval worked at Reliance Industries Limited for 11 years as Senior Manager-IT. He managed IT infrastructure and application support for the polymers business across multiple offices in three states. Dhaval also has experience working as Manager – Network Services at Source Infotech Pvt Ltd, handling customer services, networking projects, and managing major accounts.
