Dallas, Texas, United States, March 2025 – Dhiraj Adya has stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer at the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League, the world’s first franchise-based chess league. In this newly assumed position, Dhiraj will oversee all operational aspects of the league, bringing together strategic innovation and execution to elevate the global chess experience for fans, players, and stakeholders alike.
Prior to this, Dhiraj served as Americas Head, Influencer Relations and Business Group Head – Private Market Telcos | Americas at Tech Mahindra, where he led digital transformation, tech modernization, and market roll-out strategies across North America. His efforts in business transformation and advisory services have been instrumental in driving growth across multiple verticals.

Before Tech Mahindra, Dhiraj spent nearly eight years at HCL Technologies as Business Unit Head – Retail, Consumer Goods, and Logistics, leading large-scale digital and cloud transformation initiatives. His strategic focus helped deliver cost efficiencies and cloud adoption for several Fortune 500 clients.
Earlier, he held leadership roles at Cognizant and Genpact Headstrong Capital Markets, where he specialized in automation strategies, investment banking technologies, and process optimization. Dhiraj also co-founded Quality Elements Inc, a consulting firm that delivered right-shoring and growth solutions to scaling enterprises.
