Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, August 2024 – Diana Sanchez has taken on the role of Head of People & Culture at Lifeline Australia. In this new position, Diana will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies that will support the organization’s mission of providing crisis support and suicide prevention services across Australia. Her focus will include driving employee engagement, fostering a supportive work environment, and ensuring that Lifeline’s people and culture initiatives align with its critical life-saving services.
Before joining Lifeline Australia, Diana served as the Head of People & Culture APAC at TELUS Health for approximately 1.5 years. In this role, she was responsible for implementing HR strategies across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on leadership development, employee relations, and talent management to drive high performance and engagement.
Prior to TELUS Health, Diana was the Senior Human Resources Business Partner/Manager at Benestar for nearly 2 years. Here, she played a key role in guiding the organization through significant growth and change, post-COVID, by implementing health and wellbeing programs, driving employment relations strategies, and managing organizational restructures.
Earlier in her career, Diana spent about 1 year as a Senior HR Business Partner at Cover-More Group, where she provided strategic HR support and led various improvement projects that supported the business’s people requirements.
Diana’s career also includes significant roles at Eclipx Group, Georges River Council, and Relationships Australia NSW, among others, where she gained extensive experience in managing HR strategies, change management, and employee relations.
