Tampa, Florida, United States, August 2024 – Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has announced the appointment of Dina Marie Hernandez as the Managing Director and Global Chief People Officer for its Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) and Corporate Transaction Group (CTG). In this newly created role, Dina will oversee global talent management and acquisition, as well as inclusive diversity across both groups. She will also be a formal member of the Global TAG’s Executive Committee (GEC), where she will drive connectivity across business units to meet long-term vision and objectives.
Prior to joining A&M, Dina served as a Consultant, HR Management, and Executive Coach at HR2Scale, where she provided bespoke coaching to HR leaders, helping them align HR strategies with business goals. Before that, she was the Chief People Officer at Qualus, where she oversaw HR workstreams during company acquisitions, growing the workforce from 650 to 1,200 employees in the US and Canada.
Dina also held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at ELM Home & Building Solutions, where she tripled the size of the workforce and implemented talent strategies that reduced turnover from 300% to 30%. Earlier in her career, she was the Senior Director of Global Human Resources at EXSIF, where she led leadership training programs that contributed to a 22% sales increase. Her extensive experience also includes a seven-year tenure at Alvarez & Marsal as the Global Director of Human Resources, where she played a pivotal role in the company’s global expansion and talent acquisition efforts.
