Mumbai, Maharashtra ,India, February 2026 —Dr. Chintan Doshi has joined Sandvik India Innovation Pvt. Ltd. as Head – HR, bringing with him over two decades of diverse and progressive experience in strategic human resources leadership across global organizations.
In his new role at Sandvik, Dr. Doshi will lead the human resources agenda for the India Innovation entity, aligning people strategy with business priorities, strengthening leadership capability, and fostering a high-performance, future-ready workforce within a global engineering and technology-driven environment.
Prior to joining Sandvik, Dr. Doshi was associated with Nium, where he served as Head of HR – APAC and earlier as Head of HR – India & APAC and Head of HR – India. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in scaling HR strategy across the region, driving leadership development, succession planning, compensation and benefits strategy, HRIS implementation, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives to support rapid business growth.
Before Nium, he worked with Nuance Communications as Senior Manager & HR Business Partner – Asia Pacific, where he led business HR for Global Research & Development teams and aligned regional HR governance across India, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. His responsibilities included workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, learning and development, compliance, and supporting merger and acquisition activities.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Doshi held leadership roles at Barclays, contributing to HR strategy for Operations & Technology and driving digital transformation within the HR function. His experience also includes assignments at Nomura, UBS, and HSBC, where he built strong expertise in training and development, competency mapping, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness.
With extensive experience across banking, fintech, and technology-driven organizations, Dr. Doshi brings strong capabilities in HR business partnering, leadership development, talent management, and organizational transformation to his new mandate at Sandvik.
