Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2024 – Soft Polynomials is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Deepak Deshpande as the new CHRO and Chief Growth Officer. Dr. Deshpande will be based in Mumbai and brings extensive expertise in human resources and strategic growth to the company.
Dr. Deshpande joins Soft Polynomials from EdgeHR Advisory & Business Consulting, where he served as Managing Partner for 6 months, providing strategic HR consulting services and business growth advice.
Prior to that, he spent over 16 years with NTT Global Data Centers and Cloud Infrastructure, India, holding the role of Senior Director. In this position, he played a pivotal role in the organizational transition and scaling of the company, focusing on managing HR activities, strategic business partnering, and integrating global HR initiatives.
From 2007 to 2022, Dr. Deshpande was the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Netmagic Solutions (An NTT Communications Company). He was responsible for translating global HR strategies into Indian initiatives, acting as a business partner to the CEO, and leading all HR activities across the country.
Before his tenure at Netmagic, Dr. Deshpande was the Head of Human Resources at Lionbridge Technologies, India from 2005 to 2007, where he directed HR strategies and delivered customized HR solutions.
Dr. Deshpande’s earlier roles include Global Head of Human Resources at SYSTIME, Group Manager of Human Resources at Trigyn Technologies, and Senior Manager of Human Resources at Blue Star Infotech. His extensive career also includes positions at Datamatics Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, and Larsen & Toubro Limited.
