With over 18 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Dr. Kumar brings extensive expertise in hospital operations, strategic leadership, and people management to his new role.
Prior to joining CARE Hospitals, Dr. Kumar served as CEO of Livasa Hospitals, where he successfully drove operational excellence and organizational growth. His leadership emphasized strengthening clinical outcomes and enhancing patient care delivery while expanding business operations.
Before Livasa, Dr. Kumar was with the Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Regional Director. During his tenure, he managed multiple hospitals, led large teams, and implemented key strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction across regions.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Kumar worked with Max Healthcare as General Manager and Director, where he managed multi-specialty hospitals and oversaw significant expansions. His clinical background includes senior residency roles in Neuroanaesthesia and Anaesthesia at prestigious institutions such as NIMHANS, SGPGI, and PGIMER, giving him a unique blend of medical and managerial expertise.
As CEO of CARE Hospitals, Dr. Kumar will focus on executing the group’s strategic vision, enhancing patient care standards, and fostering innovation-led growth to further strengthen CARE Hospitals’ position as one of India’s premier healthcare providers.
