Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, January 2026 — The Hindu, one of India’s most respected and enduring media institutions, has announced that Druhi Sethi has taken charge as Head of Digital Marketing. The appointment reflects the organisation’s continued focus on strengthening its digital leadership and accelerating audience-first growth across platforms, while staying rooted in its legacy of editorial excellence and trust.

With an unmatched reputation for credibility and impactful journalism, The Hindu has steadily expanded its digital footprint in recent years—strengthening its presence across multiple platforms and evolving its engagement models in a rapidly changing media landscape. Druhi’s appointment signals a strategic intent to further enhance digital performance, deepen audience engagement, and build future-ready marketing capabilities aligned to the organisation’s long-term vision for modern journalism.

Druhi brings a strong track record across digital strategy, brand building, performance marketing, and team leadership, having delivered high-impact growth initiatives across leading digital marketing organisations. Prior to joining The Hindu, she spent nearly four years with Social Beat, progressing through multiple leadership roles including Associate Vice President – Growth & Client Success and Associate Vice President – Strategic Account Management, where she also served as Bangalore Head, spearheading strategic account leadership, business acquisition, and AI-driven initiatives.

At Social Beat, she played a key role in scaling business outcomes across multiple brands—driving high conversion growth, strengthening client success frameworks, and enabling organisational initiatives rooted in culture, process excellence, and leadership impact. She also led national-level strategy initiatives and delivered large-scale campaigns across diverse sectors, including healthcare, mobility, retail, and real estate.

Earlier, Druhi worked at NP Digital as Head – Brand & Social Media (India), where she built social media as a structured vertical and scaled high-performing brand programs through research-led content strategies, platform optimisation, reporting systems, and team capability building. Her journey also includes formative early experience at MullenLowe Lintas Group as a Graphic Designer Intern, strengthening her creative and brand communication foundation.

A recognised young leader in the Indian digital ecosystem, Druhi has been featured as a Social Samosa 30 Under 30 honouree, underlining her emerging influence, strategic thinking, and ability to drive transformation across fast-paced business environments.

As she takes on this new responsibility at The Hindu, Druhi is expected to play a central role in advancing a stronger digital marketing engine—bringing together brand credibility, audience trust, innovation, and measurable growth—while helping the organisation continue to evolve meaningfully in the digital age.
