Casablanca, Morocco, February 2026 — Egis has appointed Laure Russier-Bècle as Managing Director for Egis in Africa, effective February 2026. In this role, she will lead the strategic growth plan for the continent and oversee operations across Egis’ expanding African footprint.
As Managing Director, Russier-Bècle will steer Egis’ consultancy, engineering, project management, operations and maintenance, and concession participation activities across 25 African countries. She will be responsible for accelerating regional growth, strengthening partnerships, and delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions aligned with Egis’ long-term continental vision.
Prior to this appointment, she served as Regional Director and Partner | Africa – Consulting, Aviation and Operations at Egis, where she led multi-sector operations covering roads, airport operations and maintenance, airport engineering, air traffic management, tourism consultancy, urban planning, sustainability, financial engineering, and marine engineering. Her leadership spanned Casablanca and multiple African markets, reinforcing Egis’ regional positioning.
Earlier, she was Regional Director and Partner | Middle East & South Asia at Egis, based in Dubai, overseeing business development, P&L management, and project delivery across the Middle East and South Asia. She was a member of the Executive Committee (COMEX) for the region and led expansion across water, energy, marine, port, nuclear, and environmental sectors.
In parallel, Russier-Bècle serves as Chief Executive Officer of SEGAP (Société d’Exploitation et de Gestion Aéroportuaires), a pan-African airport operator managing major concessions across the Republic of Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, and Zanzibar, further strengthening her leadership credentials in aviation and infrastructure operations across Africa.
Earlier in her career, she held engineering and project coordination roles with Bouygues Construction and related entities across Singapore, the UK, and France, contributing to complex infrastructure and PPP-PFI projects.
With over 16 years at Egis and extensive international infrastructure leadership experience, Russier-Bècle brings deep expertise in strategic growth, infrastructure development, concession management, and sustainable territorial planning to her new continental mandate.
