Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 — Emami Ltd has appointed Dhruv Aggarwal as Chief Growth Officer, as part of changes in its senior management personnel disclosed through a regulatory filing. In this role, Aggarwal will lead the company’s growth agenda, focusing on business expansion, strategic initiatives, and strengthening competitiveness across key categories.
Aggarwal brings deep experience in strategy-led transformation and growth programs across consumer and consumer-tech landscapes. At Emami Ltd, his mandate is expected to span end-to-end growth acceleration—helping sharpen category strategy, identify new engines of growth, and strengthen execution across markets and channels.
Over the last decade, Aggarwal has built his career at Bain & Company, advising businesses and investors across geographies including India, the US, the UK, and Europe. Most recently, he served as a Partner, working with consumer, retail, and media companies on large-scale transformations, turnarounds, and growth strategies, while also supporting startups through digital venture and growth programs and leading diligence engagements for private equity and venture capital funds.
Prior to becoming Partner, he served as an Associate Partner at Bain & Company, where he deepened his specialization across consumer and retail-led strategic programs, supporting leadership teams on operating model improvements, growth planning, and transformation roadmaps across diverse categories and markets.
Earlier in his career, Aggarwal worked with Barclays Capital as a Quantitative Associate, gaining exposure to analytical problem-solving and performance-driven financial decision-making in a global banking environment.
He also served as an Assistant Manager at Jindal Power Limited, working in project management and monitoring for a captive power plant setup, strengthening his grounding in operational execution and cross-functional delivery.
He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and experience as a PhD candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
